Manufacturing Engineers are owners of the build plan and ensure compliance to design configuration, build plan, and process requirements. This team is the custodian of the Avionics Integration Labs.

The Structures Test Lab supports the full structural testing needs of the BDS Vertical Lift Programs in Mesa,AZ, including component tests up to full-scale aircraft testing. The primary focus will be work related to the Boeing Defense Systems (BDS) Fighters and Weapons programs and their associated flight and lab test efforts. While this position can provide support to flight test and lab test across Boeing, the focus of this position is to support the Structures Test Lab and Aeronautical Systems Integration and Test (ASIT) Lab, in Mesa, AZ. The Design Build Manufacturing Engineer is an assembly and installation engineer within Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) that supports fabrication planning & setup/installation by providing design review, manufacturing plan authorship, and fabrication sourcing (inside and outside of Boeing) followed by support at the aircraft during installation or in the laboratory during setup.
